Thankful for my husband

today my daughter and I were working on jewelry making and my husband was getting us all set up with the tools we needed and making sure that it was working the way we wanted things to. He spent so much time with us that he didn't get all that he was wanting to do done. I am thankful that he helped us and provided tools and just loved us by being so helpful, he even fixed lunch which was awesome. THANKS HONEY!!!!!!!!

Common Life

Do you have a cure for the common life? What is the common life that we seek? According to the book I am reading by Max Lucado it is for starters "A zone, a region, a life precinct in which you were made to dwell. God gave you this, He tailored the curves of your life to fit an empty space in His jigsaw puzzle. And life makes sweet sense when you find that spot" I don't know if I have found that sweet spot but I do know that I love the curves which are filled with my children and grandchildren, each so different and each filling a empty space that could not be filled by anyone else. And others that come around the bend to fill a space that challenges me or makes me stop and think of what God has and is doing in my life make life sweet and also abrasive. I am trying to work through the book but it takes time to read, try to understand and then recall, sort through memories and feelings and then decide if I really want to know the cure for the common life. Maybe my life isn't so common and in that I am living in the sweet spot with Jesus being in me all that I need. I am always glad to have a book that makes me think and evaluate my life BUT not control who I am .

Sunrises only God can create

Upon waking one morning last week, I took my dog out for her morning walk and when I got past the house and looked at the morning sky this was what greeted me. Good morning Lord and thank you for thinking of me when you painted the sky with some of my favorite colors. Each sunrise is so different that it compels me to just praise God for His wonderful care of me.

Love these Ladies

Tea Time
I have always loved tea and anything connected with a tea party is fun. When in 4H in Grade School we would have to get all dressed up including gloves and hats and learn how ladies acted at a Tea, it was enlightening that you had to nibble at your cookies (two was all a lady would put on her plate) and sip your tea while balancing the plate and cup on your lap. Have you ever just chosen two cookies (when you were a kid) out of at least 10 different kinds? But that is where I learned about Tea Time.
I went to a Tea with the ladies in my Bible Study at the Queen B (nice name) We had so much fun and the crumpets, sweets, and tea were be far the best I have had but the fellowship out did the food and tea. I love being with these ladies, it was a fun day.
